[Lyrics]

Why did You leave me by myself, alone in darkness
And why is this dreary night so dark and long?
Have You forsaken me? I'm humbled at Your feet
There's nothing else here in this world that I can hold onto
I stand, here in the wilderness

You are my help and my defender
You are my light that shines in darkness
You are my counselor and my only friend
Here in this wilderness, Your hand is watching over me
I stand, here in the wilderness

Why did You leave me by myself, alone in darkness
And why is this dreary night so dark and long?
Have You forsaken me? I'm humbled at Your feet
There's nothing else here in this world that I can hold onto
I stand, here in the wilderness

You are my help and my defender
You are my light that shines in darkness
You are my counselor and my only friend
Here in this wilderness, Your hand is watching over me
I stand, I stand

You are my potter and refiner
You are the One Who gives me purpose
You have brought me to this place to make me Your own
Here in this wilderness, Your love is resurrecting me
I stand, here in the wilderness

I lay down desires of my heart and break them at Your feet
I let them go so I can dream Your dream for me
Let it be done to me according to Your will
So that the world can see Your love reflected in me
Through the wilderness
