Bishop speaks to Rome about succession planning for his retirement

The Bishop has spoken to Rome about succession planning for his retirement.

Bishop Carmel Zammit turns 75 this year, which is when he's obliged to send in his resignation according to Cannon Law.

He told GBC, he's trying to avoid the situation Gibraltar was last in when there was no Bishop for over two years.
