이 노래는 예수님께서 인류의 구원자로서 예루살렘에 입성 하시던 장면을 떠올리며 만들어진 곡이다. 세상의 왕들과는 달리 예수님은 화려한 군마가 아닌 겸손한 당나귀를 타고 성 안으로 들어오셨다. 그러나 그 장면은 겸손 속에 숨겨진 가장 위대한 왕의 행진이었으며, 어둠을 깨고 빛이 들어오는 구원의 순간을 상징한다.

또한 이 노래는 단지 역사적인 사건을 묘사하는 데서 멈추지 않는다. 빈 무덤으로 죽음을 이기신 예수님께서 영원한 왕으로 다스리신다는 승리의 메시지와 함께, 오늘을 사는 믿는 이들의 믿음의 고백이기도 하다. 모든 민족과 언어가 하나 되어 그분을 찬양하게 될 날을 바라보며 힘차게 선포하는 찬양이다.

이번 곡은 작사·작곡과 프로듀싱을 맡은 Alex Kim(김도균)과 보컬 브라이언킴의 새로운 CCM 콜라보 프로젝트이다.
두 사람 모두 외국에서 자라 영어와 한국어를 동시에 담은 고백으로 전 세계 사람들에게 예수님의 왕 되심이 잘 전달되기를 소망한다.

“길을 비켜라, 구원자 예수 나가신다”는 외침은 결국 우리의 삶과 세상 가운데 왕으로 오시는 예수님을 맞이하는 믿음의 선언이다.

This song was created while reflecting on the moment when Jesus entered Jerusalem as the Savior of humanity. Unlike the kings of this world, Jesus did not ride into the city on a magnificent war horse, but on a humble donkey. Yet that scene was the procession of the greatest King, hidden in humility, symbolizing the moment of salvation when light breaks through the darkness.

The cry, “Make way,” is not merely a shout of celebration, but a declaration that all the powers and fears of this world must step aside because the true King has come. This song captures heaven and earth, and all creation, recognizing His reign and responding with joy. It revives, in today’s worship and praise, the scene of Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem when people waved palm branches and cried out, “Hosanna.”

At the same time, this song does not stop at describing a historical event. It is also a confession of faith for believers today, proclaiming the victory of Jesus, who conquered death through the empty tomb and now reigns as the eternal King. It is a powerful song of declaration, looking forward to the day when every nation and every tongue will join together in praise to Him.

This release is a new CCM collaboration project between Alex Kim (김도균), who led the songwriting, composition, and production, and CCM ARTIST, vocalist Brian Kim. Having both grown up overseas, they hope that through this confession expressed in both English and Korean, the kingship of Jesus will be clearly proclaimed to people around the world.

The cry, “Make way, Savior Jesus is coming,” is ultimately a declaration of faith that welcomes Jesus as King into our lives and into this world.
